About this artwork
This series is inspired by elements and objects of everyday life forming the perfect panoply for the street rocker: guitars, tobacco, alcohol, knives for street fighting etc. ... Mixing humor, fun and typography, this joyful mix forms a very colorful pop art composition. One could almost speak of a cross between the French comic strip "Ricky banlieue" (written and drawn by Frank Margerin) and the British heavy metal band "Motörhead".
