About this artwork
An abstract exploration of a floral subject that I wanted to create a harmony of soft hues and soothing shapes. A moment of calm and serenity where I wanted to sublimate a delicate structure of elements through a silent balance. It is an ode to tranquility, captured by a play of colors and geometries where suggestion takes precedence over figuration.

Fanou Montel is an experienced French painter whose works have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Passionate about art ever since she was a child, Fanou is inspired by the natural world and her everyday observations, creating paintings that range from total abstraction to semi-figuration. The theme of landscape is omnipresent in her work, as she chooses complementing color palettes to bring new geometric shapes to life.
