About this artwork
I have just finished my latest creation which is particularly close to my heart. This work is made in acrylic on canvas, measuring 54 cm by 38 cm. It is based on the principle of rhythmic structure in harmony with the golden ratio. each being composed of colors that blend or clash. Farid Izemmour is an experienced artist based in Switzerland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Italy. Izemmour describes his artistic practice as being based on the abstract expressionist principles inspired by famed artist, Jackson Pollock. Breaking the codes of calligraphy, his distinctive pieces fuse abstraction with the written word.
