The painting is about a dialogue between the artist and the model. The artist has been lost into her imagination and her unconsciousness. This atmosphere is painted carefully around the artist head. Her face is no longer a real one but a surrealist since she is lost into memories and the unreal.… Even though the model is standing right behind her, she is not facing it because she is recreating it in her way. The canvas is her new friend where she can create her own world. Some elegant female details are drawn in her dress and some floral motives are present in the scene to give some sensuality to the story. The painting is oil on canvas, a mixed technique of pencil drawing and oil painting in a surrealist way. Blue color is chosen as a color of the ocean and the sky; to symbolize serenity, stability, inspiration, and wisdom.
