I created this painting titled "Zeit," inspired by the Rammstein song. It features a blue portrait of a beautiful woman with her eyes closed. To the right of her, three paper boats hang from a string.
The blue color evokes feelings of melancholy and tranquility, fitting the contemplative atmosphere of "Zeit." The woman with her downcast eyes symbolizes introspection and the desire to halt time. The paper boats represent transience and the attempt… to hold onto fleeting moments.

Femke Kock is an artist from the Netherlands. Just a few years ago, she left her steady job to fully dedicate herself to her career as an artist. In this short period, she has built a remarkable portfolio and won several awards. Her rendition of the Girl with a Pearl Earring was displayed in the Mauritshuis, and her works can be found in numerous private collections worldwide, from Tokyo to Paris and everywhere in between. She has also appeared on national television multiple times with her work. Femke Kock's pieces are regularly showcased at major art fairs and galleries, and she has had several notable solo exhibitions, such as at the observation deck of the Euromast in Rotterdam.
