About this artwork
TRIBAL PRIDE is a personal and powerful work that harks back to my childhood. As a child, I was captivated by an image on a CD I owned. The energy and radiance of that image captivated me, and years later, I decided to create my own interpretation.
In this work, I blend that youthful wonder with a contemporary twist: a subtle nod to Andy Warhol. His iconic style inspired me to incorporate a detail—the characteristic nickel—into the figure's head.… In this way, I unite tribal power with pop art influences and shape a new visual language.
For me, TRIBAL PRIDE embodies the spirit of my iFusionism: the merging of personal memory, iconic art, and contemporary imagination. As Fenzolini, I create a luxurious statement piece that celebrates identity, admiration, and artistic freedom.

Ik ben Fenzolini (Fabio Romano), Italiaans-Belgische hedendaagse kunstenaar en de grondlegger van iFusionism: een vernieuwende kunststroming waarin iconische meesterwerken samenvloeien tot nieuwe, luxueuze statementkunst.
Mijn motto “Jaag je dromen na” weerspiegelt mijn levenspad. Met Italiaanse roots en een jeugd in Genk, en gevormd door mijn achtergrond als lasser, ontwikkelde ik een artistieke taal die kracht, contrast en vrijheid uitdrukt.
