Single-run piece printed with mineral pigments on “Museum” quality paper from the “Ché, Buenos Aires” Project. Argentine Tango is known worldwide, but what few know is that it has its own language: “Lunfardo”. Using monochromatic pigments on paper, I captured a vibrant scene of intense humanity and tension. It is a completely algorithmic creation finished with collage, drawing and digital painting. "Cayó la yuta" in "lunfardo" means the police arrived… (yuta). The characters and their interaction reveal raw emotions, a social narrative that sparks reflection. When contemplating it, you will feel the pulsating energy of the work, a presence that challenges and enriches your space with its powerful atmosphere, and will also deliver the touch of daring represented by the new artistic trend proposed by Algorithmic Art.
Fernando Grilli, son of photographers and raised in the nuances of light, fuses photography, collage and algorithmic art. His works, imbued with techniques such as retouching and monotype, dialogue with the aesthetics of Art Deco, PopArt and the mystery of film noir. They transmit the weight of the social, the poetry of light and shadow, and a conceptual vision that sparks reflection.
