About this artwork
In this unique work I have captured the vibrant essence of tango, a dance that symbolizes passion and emotional intensity. Using mineral pigments on "Museum" quality paper, I have sought to recreate not only the physical realism of the dancers, but also the charged and almost tangible atmosphere of a night in a still life in the San Telmo neighborhood in Buenos Aires, or on a stage in Broadway. That is why I used algorithmic tools to generate a photograph…
subjected to digital retouching processes. The textures, the lighting contrast and the almost imperceptible chromaticism intensify the scene, inviting the viewer to feel each beat and also the click of his heels of this emblematic dance. A creation to be displayed in environments with a strong individualistic touch.
