A breezy lakeside afternoon unfolds in quick, sunstruck strokes, as swimmers and sailboats share a crescent of pale sand under a canopy of green. Painted alla prima on location, the scene holds the warmth of a single session where decisions stay fresh, gestural, and unrepeatable. Cerulean and teal notes braid through the water, shifting toward milky turquoise at the shoreline… where foam tints the edge with pale value. Lemon and sap greens break across the foliage, while violets and deep blues stage the shade, creating a lively warm–cool dialogue along the sand.
