About this artwork
My work is a sculpture that fuses bronze and cast iron, creating an object-like and autonomous form. I was inspired by the complexity of human emotions and how they intertwine, sometimes trapping us in our own mental creations, symbolized by this structure that evokes labyrinths and architectural confines. It is a piece that invites reflection on our personal and collective space, bringing an energy of introspection and visual impact to the environment…

Fernando Suárez Reguera is a Spanish sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France, Panama, and Turkey. He describes his artistic practice as the building of surviving cities of abandoned iron stilt houses, portraying "bridges without futures". Conversely, Reguera's figurative pieces convey heroism, movement, and sensuality, combining architectural elements from the East. He creates using bronze, cast iron, and steel.
