Ferruccio Ferrari (Milan, 1975) is a visual artist whose research focuses on identity, seriality, and digital image mediation. Trained at the Academy of Communication in Milan, he debuted with the first Italian animated web series (Just 70's) for MTV, later developing a pictorial language that blends street art, poster art, and urban figuration.
His practice uses the face as a modular structure and a field of visual manipulation. Between 2010 and 2020, Ferrari explored identity as a public construction with the viral project 25INCH.me. This evolution culminated in the ICON FILTER series (Paris, 2025), where he developed the "post-portrait": figures multiplied and negated by graphic signs, in which the face represents a system of visibility and control.
The works, created using a mixed media, oscillate between avatar and archetypal icon. In 2026, he will present the new series Freedom Fighters and Hey Kids Rock'n'Roll at the Lucca Art Fair.
