About this artwork
The surface carries layered shades of soft turquoise, dusty pink, warm neutrals, and touches of yellow, each built slowly. Though the composition… might recall collage, every element is formed organically, emerging through decisions made in the moment.
Near the end, the letters LY2 (“Love You Too”) were added in stencil, a quiet message held within the piece. The title ‘Say It Back’ comes from this moment, a phrase that suggests both tenderness and vulnerability, the kind of words that don’t always come easily, yet matter when they do.
This painting invites the viewer to lean in, to read what is visible and what is softly hidden beneath the surface.
