About this artwork
In this work, I have captured the raw beauty of the sea and the movement of the sails in an expressive way. The combination of acrylic, spray paint, screen printing, and plaster gives the surface a vibrant, tactile depth. I wanted to convey the feeling of freedom and adventure that sailing brings, while simultaneously making the unpredictable power of nature palpable. This image brings energy and dynamism to any room.
Florian Arendt, influenced by an artistic mother, has moved through a variety of techniques such as watercolor, airbrush, graffiti and screen printing. His modern style is expressed in dynamic acrylic paintings, screen prints and spatula techniques, always following his creative instinct. His works remind us that it is not about missed time, but about the time we consciously take for ourselves.
