About this artwork

The landscape work from Tescani was painted in the open air during a Creation Camp held in the village of Tescani, Bacau County in Romania. Locality that is important for the Romanian cultural climate, because it was the place where a period was, wrote and activated one of the most important Romanian composers George Enescu. There is the mansion of Maria Tescanu Rosetti, the composer's wife, to whom he dedicated the work Oedipus. The harmony of the… summer colors and the rustic shapes show the effects that the passage of time has on the nature.
