About this artwork
The Metanoia painting is inspired by Byzantine icons. The work is done in layers superimposed with colors and we intervened also with linear elements to represent the faces. In addition to faces, cups are represented as symbols of destiny. Each of the material world has a cup to understand or not the meaning of existence. The discrete language and the fine calligraphy do not impose content on the viewer, but invite him to retreat in silence in order…
