About this artwork
Having practiced aikido for many years, in 1984 I transformed the small Smurf judoka figurine from the Schleich collection into a little aikidoka simply by adding a hakama. From this metamorphosis was born the desire to create a minimalist digital artwork—a tribute to this small being imbued with wisdom, ready to step onto the tatami in calm and kindness, alongside anyone who wishes to share this moment of harmony.
