In dit levendige doek heb ik mijn passie voor abstracte en geometrische vormen geuit, waarbij elk dynamisch, gekleurd vlak samenkomt om een gevoel van beweging en energie uit te stralen. De harmonie en tegenstelling in de compositie bieden continue inspiratie en reflectie, want het thema 'Hemelvaart' geeft een bovenmenselijke inspiratie en van daaruit richting in ons leven met hoop voor de toekomst. ). Inhoud: "Bij een kloostercomplex passeerde ik een ingang met een aflopend pad omgeven door bomen, en eindigend in een splitsing. Ik kon naar beneden, doorlopen of naar boven. Diverse grasterrassen met een doorkijk naar een weide, waarachter ook rijen bomen staan. Overweldigd door de stilte liep ik verder..."

After growing up in an artistic family and studying at various academies, Foke Stribos became fascinated by Beauty (emotion), Truth (liveable reality) and tangible and visible Nature, which he depicts in his various works with oil and acrylic paint, sand and glitter on canvas, cardboard and prints. He uses various techniques, from brush strokes to knife applications and creates surface textures. This oeuvre is often at the crossroads of figurative and non-figurative. I derive my motifs and subjects from reality, but I always transform them while painting. And in such a way that a new, pictorial reality often emerges during the far-reaching abstraction. The focused search for precise proportions, the right rhythm and finding original colour schemes are the pillars of his fascinating oeuvre.
