"The Shade of Love" is a meditative exploration of spiritual refuge and cultural heritage. This 50x40 cm composition serves as a visual sanctuary, where ancient Persian calligraphy and intricate floral motifs converge through a complex layering of textures.
The artwork is defined by a sophisticated multi-layered stenciling technique. Traditional Persian patterns… are repeated and overlaid using professional ceramic paste, creating a deep, architectural relief that emerges from a dark, moody background. A standout feature is the tactile calligraphy—the poetic script is not merely painted but sculpted onto the surface using custom stencils, giving the words physical volume and presence. The transition into a bespoke, hand-mixed patina green symbolizes the "green embrace" of love, offering a serene contrast to the rugged, stone-like textures of the base.
