About this artwork
This composition is a vibrant dance of color and texture, a celebration on canvas that speaks to the soul. With each oil stroke, I've infused energy and emotion, weaving abstract forms that invite the viewer into a festive and dynamic atmosphere. It's a piece that will brighten any space, offering a daily feast for the eyes and a constant source of inspiration—an invitation to revel in the joy of life's vivid moments.
« For me, painting is a way to externalize, in a physical form, an intimate interior voice. »
Frédéric Choisel is an experienced painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Belgium. He describes his artistic motivation as being based on the need to communicate and create emotion for the viewer. Navigating freely between the figurative, abstraction, and representation, Choisel believes that, "art might be the last rampart, our last access to liberty".
