About this artwork
This work is the result of my work on the female nude and my enthusiasm for color. Indeed, the nude is one of the essential themes for an artist.
This theme opens access to emotions, reverie and attachment. The choice of colors is very subtle and brings great softness to the work.

Frédérique Marteau is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Belgium. For her, the emotions and presence that can emerge from a particular color or shape are magical. The infinite possibilities of assemblies fascinate Marteau, as they open up an infinite field of creation and of countless imaginary stories. Her diverse compositions are most often created with oils on linen.
