About this artwork
FENNEC FOX is a bronze sculpture of the typical desert fox in united emirates.
It is one of the few animals I sculpted alone, without a human being.
I really love her fierce and cuteness, I enjoyed finding my own stile in this little guy.
The patina is dark aged bronze, eyes are shiny.
The base is marble.

« The stories of each character, isolated in an intimate and personal dimension, are reflections on human values, perceptions and emotions. »
Francesca Dalla Benetta is an Italian sculptor based in Mexico. After 10 years working as a makeup artist in the film industry, Dalla Benetta is now a dedicated full-time artist. Her work is characterized by anatomies and mixed forms. Faces and human bodies are combined with different textures, skins and elements, giving rise to hybrid and fantastic beings. Through unusual, strange and surreal bodies, her pieces focus on the problems of transformation, identity, the sense of belonging, self-perception and dreams.
