In this work, St. Michael does not brandish the sword. We do not see
Lucifer. We only see the face of the archangel, captured in the moment in which
understands that the battle is not against an external enemy, but against a
part of himself.
Lucifer, brother born from the same creative spark of God, has become
shadow to counterbalance the light. Killing it is necessary, but
heartbreaking. It is the gesture of someone who knows that hatred is… fought with love, and that every
inner victory brings with it a wound.
Through the technique of alchemical temporama, the face of Saint Michael is
Transforms: from anger to tears, from flames to ashes. Black tears.
that cross his face are not a sign of weakness, but of awareness.
I am the pain of those who choose the light, knowing they must cross the shadow.
This work is an invitation to look inside yourself. To recognize your own
