The hand is destiny, say the fortune tellers. Look at your hands, observe them before you fall asleep, close your eyes. Your hands, yours alone, are among the wonders of the human body. Above a piano, they settle with the slow motion of a bird approaching its nest. Fingers fall upon the singing notes with the fluidity of a slow-motion film, allowing you to hear the first notes of Bach's Prelude… in C minor. It is morning, it is rain, it is a message from the wind, it is a caress of mist and the promise of our union.
