About this artwork
The works in this series are the result of various thought experiments on Franz Kafka's 'Metamorphosis'. The pictures are originally painted using mixed media techniques, which were transformed into new associative image worlds using digital processing. The memory of Rorschach patterns but also the association with insects is the conscious conceptual pushing of visual symmetrical systems.
