Isn't it true that each of us has had a moment in life when we forget everything around us?
The car drives… it just rolls along, in the middle of the night… and then, while this song is playing on the radio, you are certain that you love… that you once loved.
As I sat in the passenger seat of this car, I wondered:
Can anyone see?…
Can anyone see me?
With all my pain and search for hope…
She sings: we are Godless…
I cry and say:
…Do you see? – Do you see what it's really about?
At that moment I felt...

Franksy Zabel, born in 1976 in Hamm, Westphalia, studied in Münster and initially pursued a career as a master carpenter with his own business.

He decided to become a self-employed artist and traveled to Hamburg with his camera and minimal luggage, where he followed his innate calling and took his first photographs of the Hanseatic city bathed in golden light. From then on, he continued his travels, capturing daily moments on the street, in nature, and in his surroundings. His unique photographic technique allows him to see the world as he felt it, even before he saw the finished photograph. As a musician, he has always been accompanied by his own music and that of other bands. This interplay of his travels, music, and photographs has also resulted in videos, which can be viewed alongside his images on his website.
