About this artwork
In my work "Dots in Blue 1," I blend powerful blue tones with dynamic acrylic accents to create a vibrant, almost pulsating energy. The use of expressionistic techniques makes the drops appear almost animated—as if they were in the process of dancing on the canvas. This painting is a celebration of color and movement, bringing an invigorating and inspiring energy to any space it enters.
With every picture purchased I will add my book "Friedhard… Meyer as an artist traveling around the globe" (125 pages, 150 pictures, ISBN: 978-3-96197-121-3, value: 50 EUR) to the package as a gift.
Friedhard Meyer, born in 1940, is an artist experienced in a variety of media, specializing in painting and embarking on adventurous artistic study trips. His stylistic signature is "New Pointillism," a time-consuming and meditative technique in which he outlines dots of color with black paint to enhance their luminosity. Meyer's art reveals a deep meditation on connection, patience, and the transcending power of technique, inviting the viewer to grapple with existential questions and embark on a journey into silence.
