About this artwork
The artist created the cycle AKTE during his studies at the UNI Tübingen in the Drawing Institute from 2010 to 2017. The 133 acrylic works have all been created on Fabriano Pittura acrylic gouached marl cardboard 50x70cm fine 400g/m and show the development of the artist over seven years in a wonderful way. Here in the drawing institute he studied his theoretical and practical basics as well as representational-perspective and anatomical drawing… and developed his very personal style. The path leads from the nude study to compositional drawing to nude painting. His pronounced talent in dealing with colors was clearly recognizable. As Hansdieter Werner writes in GEA on October 12, 2011, "The files radiate calm and strength. They are gathered together."
« My work on canvas should arouse feelings in the viewer. Then my work has achieved its goal. »
