About this artwork
This piece was inspired from experience of people’s life and their stories.
Most people think they came to the world to suffer because they were born without a silver spoon, while some don’t know other people suffers because they have never experienced it, like they say: life is a teacher the more we live the more we learn.
Some believe that we live in a wicked world, while some believes we live in a merciful world, some don’t even believe the… world exist, while some don’t believe in God nor His creations, but the question is how did the world came to existence?
Which ever way we think or see how the world looks like, there is good and there is bad which means there are people suffering while there are others enjoying, so the painting is cheering us up to support one and other because most that are poor have more people that are depressed because of no food to eat or shelter, while the rich also cries, maybe no children or no peace, so let’s learn to support each other.
« As an artist, I reflect on the urban African environment I live in and how this environment fits within the wider global context. »
