It is not about representing a place, but rather suggesting the existence of internal territories—sensations, memories, presences—that slowly emerge as the pictorial process unfolds.
Floating, translucent forms open thresholds between planes: the known and the hidden, the symbolic and the sensorial, the personal and the collective.
In this visual language, space is no longer a background… or a container: it becomes the protagonist. It is constructed and revealed in every gesture, in every layer, in every void.

Gabriela Tolomei, born in Buenos Aires in 1962, uses the alchemy of color to create a positive energy that viewers can experience by connecting spiritually with her work.
