About this artwork
The diagonal composition of the diptych brings dynamism to the whole at the same time that it generates a link that intertwines the two parts that compose it. Two parts that seem to collide with each other but that in the end manage, due to their shape and color, to reach a unity and a meeting point.
It could be said that this double piece is symbolically committed to "transversal dialogue", seeking cohesion and unity between different concepts… and visions; a necessary challenge in these times of great tension in which the freedom to decide for some, and possibly for all, is threatened.
// The two pieces are painted on a wooden support (DM) and are hung individually (without separation).
Each panel is 1cm thick and is mounted on a 17x47cm and 2cm thick frame that slightly separates them from the wall //.

« Creating is leaving a visible "trail" where concerns and desires converge. The painting is the frame that allows me to give it visibility. »
Established Swiss artist Gabriele Fettolini's striking artworks do not ask questions or tell stories, instead they are rhythmic and expressive representations of the balance of life. The dualism between the body and mind, reality and aspirations, the weight of matter and the transcendence of spirit.
Producing his abstract pieces in a spontaneous environment gives Gabriele the freedom to make each piece truly unique, building and eroding layers his artworks are richly textured and beautifully colored. Each canvas is full of juxtapositions, emptiness and luminosity, beauty and tragedy, ephemeral and transitory the viewer is free to make up their own mind.
Gabriele has exhibited his artwork extensively throughout Europe, his pieces are held in numerous permanent collections.
