About this artwork
In my work, oily textures and geometric clarity merge into a harmonious composition. The calm earth tones are in an exciting dialogue with the lively blue, which brings a balanced energy into your own living atmosphere. Every shape and line is carefully placed to evoke feelings of structure and calm. This painting is a reflective statement seeking consistency in an ever-changing world.
The large-format images represent rectangular sections from… the first “unadjusted square”. The color selection is exceptional, with each image having a unique look. In the group, however, a completely different effect unfolds. Similar to how the four different voices of a choir only together create the entire range of sounds, these four works only together form a melodious and harmonious overall sound.

Gabriele Fuchs is a Germany-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Austria, Brazil, and Portugal. Inspired by the contemplation of nature and spirituality, her works are the result of deep reflection on a specific subject. Fuchs uses mathematical and calculated precision in her artistic process, based on Fibonacci numbers and the Golden Ratio, as well as Johannes Itten's color theory.
