About this artwork
In this painting, I captured an intimate scene on the shore of Lake Constance using oil paints and oil pastels. The composition is dominated by a larger, darker stone in the upper part of the picture, surrounded by medium-sized stones and very small, delicate shells.
The canvas surface features alternating darker shades of deep black, various shades of gray and green, and brilliant white, accented with blue and warm ochre.
