About this artwork
My process is entirely intuitive. In this painting I sought to express an abundance of thoughts swirling in my mind, a jumble of letters, a disjointed maelstrom, lodged in my mind like a "hanger on". The central form is like an animal that tries, but cannot, contain the storm.
