About this artwork
Inspired by the war in Ukraine, this work represents the love of a mother for her children who leaves her beloved country, with the basics in tow, to protect them from the barbarism of war and begins an exodus. A family broken by the lack of the father who had to stay. An empty space, as big as uncertainty and fear of an uncertain future. In the distance a light illuminates that mother with her children, like the hope that the exodus and flight is… to achieve a better and safer future for her family. A light of hope. On their back the shadow, the darkness, like the horror of war and the destruction they leave behind.
For this work I have chosen the blues and yellow that represent the colors of Ukraine.
A wide range of blues such as Oxford, Prussian, cobalt, steel, indigo and gray help me beautifully represent the harsh reality of an exodus and lived terror. A bright light yellow, hope.

« Art is for me the moment when I truly find myself. »
Drama meets poetry in the compositions of this Spanish artist, who has lived in Germany for more than two decades. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Madrid, where she earned a Master of Fine Art in Design, her pictorial career has evolved toward a unique language, full of intensity, emotion, and inner searching.
His works, exhibited in both galleries and international fairs, are characterized by a vibrant combination of colors, multiple layers, diverse materials, and expressive brushstrokes that seek to convey vivacity and dynamism, proposing a balance between the expressive and the harmonious.
A lover of large-format work, his compositions capture the intensity of light and a joie de vivre that hark directly back to his homeland. Each work is an emotional journey, where color and matter become a language.
