About this artwork
This painting is the result of my desire to represent my beloved Spain and thus, and in an almost spontaneous way, this dancer who can be guessed in the abstract forms was born. I spent my childhood in Andalusia, where flamenco dance and music were part of everyday life and my intention is to capture, through the strength of color, the structure of materials and more or less imprecise strokes, a movement, which not only represents this subtle bailaora,… but also the essence of a country like Spain: strength, character and energy. Words that evoke my land.
The colors are energetic: shades of red, crimson, brown, ocher and yellow, reminiscent of the powerful Andalusian sun.
The painting is large and looks spectacular dressing a large wall. It has great harmony, for this reason, despite its large size, it is not excessive, on the contrary, it relaxes and gives harmony. It has a lot of structure thanks to the stucco paste of different textures and the tissue paper.
« Art is for me the moment when I truly find myself. »
Drama meets poetry in the compositions of this Spanish artist, who has lived in Germany for more than two decades. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Madrid, where she earned a Master of Fine Art in Design, her pictorial career has evolved toward a unique language, full of intensity, emotion, and inner searching.
His works, exhibited in both galleries and international fairs, are characterized by a vibrant combination of colors, multiple layers, diverse materials, and expressive brushstrokes that seek to convey vivacity and dynamism, proposing a balance between the expressive and the harmonious.
A lover of large-format work, his compositions capture the intensity of light and a joie de vivre that hark directly back to his homeland. Each work is an emotional journey, where color and matter become a language.
