What I'm talking about here are people who have had difficult times, who have been through crises. They have just picked themselves up, are trying to stand on their own two feet again, are still considering whether they can manage to take a few cautious steps forward. It seems as if they have survived the worst, as if they can hope for a somewhat better future. But there is no certainty.
