About this artwork

This painting was inspired by the beautiful Era Beach just south of Sydney. On a mid summers day, the sand was shining a beautiful gold and the clear blue skies were mesmerising

George Hall works from his studio in Sydney, Australia but grew up between Fiji and New Zealand, so thinks of himself as a child of the Pacific. Often working with mixed media, Hall creates unique pieces that have been described as positive, calming and whimsical.
