About this artwork
Encounters 3, the academy of Geras, Austria in the mystical Waldviertel, which organizes painting courses almost all year round in the converted studios of the Geras Abbey. I am also a lecturer there. after such a painting course, this picture was taken in the studio. Acrylic colors are used in the courses. this picture is also "painted" with acrylics. Gerlinde Kosina is a committed Austrian painter whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications in Germany, Italy, Austria and the US. With oil painting as her preferred technique, she starts with chaotic stains and strokes that she then polishes with brushes, spatulas and her hands to arrive at a harmonious place.
