About this artwork
This work is part of the cycle entitled "The gold of the South", a mini cycle of works in its own right dedicated to the more or less hidden beauties of the regions of Southern Italy.
In this work, a mixed technique (acrylics and acrylic markers) on a board prepared with chalk represents a characteristic stretch of coast of the pleasant Termoli, the pearl of Molise.
Work archived and authenticated by the artist.
Given the small size and the… support used, it is advisable to frame the work to increase its value.

Gianluca De Leo is an Italian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Naples and the love and hate relationship that many of its inhabitants have with the city is one of the recurring themes in his art. De Leo's compositions combine geometrization and the abstract, depicting precise "non-places", which he describes as being very different from how it is represented and portrayed by media hype. His minimalist compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
