We are silhouettes, watchmen, a simple and distant form, almost invisible. Silhouettes do not present precise details that would allow the figure to be distinguished.
The transcendence appears in forms that express themselves in space and present themselves to be seen, outside of time. The interpretation of silhouettes differs when the reference scale is large: it will create an imposing effect; smaller, it will tend towards the object. They can… be minuscule or large and retain the same "substance."

Gilles Arnould, a painter, photographer, and sculptor who studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and the University of Paris 8, fuses painting and sculpture to explore verticality. He sows fragments of color in painting, creating a visual germination linked to biodiversity, and shapes anonymous silhouettes in sculpture, playing on the scale and consistency of forms. Through his art, he invites a spiritual elevation and offers a new reading of reality, encouraging us to contemplate balance, stability, and projection toward infinity.
