This painting, which I sign with my pseudonym TOTO PISSACO, has a style that lies somewhere between street art, art brut and graffiti.
I made it with acrylic paint while listening to my playlist, hence its title, 116x89cm is my largest format currently on sale ;-)
This work is a whirlwind of raw emotions where every brushstroke and burst of color screams life. I wanted to capture the chaotic and joyful energy of a moving painting, somewhere between… graffiti and pop art, to awaken the childlike and rebellious soul in everyone. As a painter and sculptor known by the pseudonym Baron Toto PISSACO, my works are often dynamic, colorful, and tinged with humor. My style ranges from graffiti and comics to outsider and naive art, depending on my inspiration and the technique I use. I enjoy working with acrylics, gouache, Posca markers, and oils.
One of my latest projects is the creation of a tarot deck, with the production of 22 cards based on the Marseille tarot model.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 21, exhibiting the characteristics of McDonald's triad, I found in painting a way to express myself and heal myself... it seems to be working because several decades later I still haven't killed anyone, long may it last ;-)
