About this artwork
In this abstract work, I wanted to depict figures reminiscent of horses surrounded by unreal letters and a reddish background with irregular segments. In a round porthole surrounded by a dark color, I made one of the unreal letters appear within the context of the painting.

Giorgio Mazzurega, painter and sculptor, received solid academic training from the Cignaroli Academy in Verona and the Brenzoni School in Sant'Ambrogio, where he immersed himself in painting, fresco, anatomy, and stone sculpture. He experiments with a variety of techniques, from traditional painting to spatula work, assembling different materials and using marble, stone, and geodes in his sculptures, ranging from human forms to surreal elements. His works exude a balance between instinct, creativity, and a love of nature, conveying intense feelings of wonder and freedom.
