About this artwork
I created this large abstract painting thinking about a change of state of colors, a dematerialization and a fusion at the same time. The color that is poured in circular motions onto a lighter matrix. The dripped colors are of a cold, very dark red tone, some light blue areas and some white drops. The painting is linked to the principles of change and transformation. The lighter, almost timid matrix emerges from the background like a stage where… color mutations and fusions occur
I am a multidisciplinary artist who works with oils and acrylics on canvas, then I explore photography and digitalization of images. I have spent my artistic career searching and experimenting with techniques that best express my ideas, abandoning the strictly figurative aspects to explore themes such as transformation, repetition and nature. My works, rich in rhythm and movement, evoke emotions of continuous evolution and change, as a constant praise to the complexity of reality. I have always painted and drawn and I attended the School of Ornamental Arts in Rome
