About this artwork
Mixed media on canvas: digital processing, acrylic colors and pen.

As usual, I created this work starting from a series of digital processes, which allowed me to evaluate, through multiple tests and studies, the one that allowed me to conceptually capture the personality of the Pop Art style painting and transfer it to canvas.
Subsequently, I intervened with acrylic and oil colors to complete the work with mixed technique.…
In this work, I wanted to capture the fragility and strength of the female figure, wrapped in a vibrant and dynamic pop aura. The use of acrylic and pigments creates a play of light and shadow that enhances the silhouette, while the butterflies and flowers symbolize rebirth and beauty. It will bring a vibrant energy, made of mystery and delicacy, into your home.

Giuseppe Pitruzzello, born in Sortino and graduated in Architecture from Turin, uses painting, drawing, and digital media, drawing on a solid background in the arts and conceptual art. Inspired by Surrealism, Symbolism, and Pop Art, he creates hyperrealistic works filled with symbolic colors, characters, and icons, in a dreamlike and ironic figurative style. His works convey powerful emotions, oscillating between joy and anxiety, inviting reflection on the contradictions of contemporary society and the search for transcendence.
At the age of 21 he was among the winners of the international competition announced by La Stampa, Le Monde, The Times and Die Welt, Theme: "Environment 1974", “Torino Esposizioni”.
