"Keywords" is a series of works that explore the evocative power of simple words, handwritten like spontaneous gestures amidst the chromatic chaos of the soul. Each canvas is dominated by a word—a keyword—that represents an emotion, a thought, a state of mind. The words, written in intense and vibrant colors, emerge from chaotic and layered backdrops composed of splashes, drips, material textures, and overlapping transparencies.
The series plays… with the contrast between the simplicity of the word and the complexity of the background, as if to suggest that behind every emotion lies an invisible universe of experiences and contrasts. The effect is that of an instinctive visual diary, where each term becomes an anchor for feeling, an echo of the contemporary psyche.
