About this artwork

Giuseppe Valia’s abstract work, Dove devo andare?, explores existential uncertainty through an explosion of vibrant colors. Turquoise, pink and yellow predominate, intertwined in a dynamic chaos of brush strokes and splashes, communicating energy and incessant movement. The title suggests an interior journey, a search for direction made visible by the apparent disorder of the composition. The splashes of white, like points of light or stars, offer… moments of clarity in the tumult. The instinctive use of color involves the viewer in an emotional reflection, transmitting a sense of bewilderment and at the same time a push towards the unknown.
