About this artwork
Sea in Cloud is a diptych born from the encounter between water and sky, between the density of matter and the lightness of thought. The pictorial surface is constructed through layers of color, resin, and glass inserts, fixed and incorporated into the material like suspended fragments of light.
The glass, rendered an integral part of the composition by the resin, captures and refracts light, evoking sea foam, water crystals, and intimate constellations.… The painting moves between transparencies and thickenings, creating an unstable, ever-changing landscape where the sea seems to dissolve into a dreamlike dimension.
Within this suspended space, small human figures emerge, traced with essential lines. Fragile and silent presences, they traverse the landscape like interior travelers, suggesting a profound relationship between humans and nature. They are not protagonists, but parts of the whole: points of equilibrium in a fluid universe.
« My research is to give shape and color to images, that filtered by emotions, live a metaphysical dimension that search for representation »
