About this artwork
This painting is part of a minimalist series exploring the search for inner balance, calm, and light that can be felt through the simplest forms and shades. In piece #37 [Meditation], the flower is depicted in deep blue tones that gently dissolve into the background. Soft, blurred contours create a sense of transparency and meditative tranquility, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in their inner world.
The absence of details and the purity… of form allow focus on the depth of color and emotional impact, filling the canvas with silence and harmony. This work is about simplicity that opens the path to a profound understanding of oneself and the surrounding world.

Glib Franko is an experienced Ukrainian artist whose works have been exhibited throughout the UK, Ukraine and Poland. Inspired early on by a father who was a watercolour painter and a mother who worked in textiles, he finds his own aesthetic and creative pleasure in testing out different colours, textures and shapes through painting. His work is fragmentary and experimental, and exudes mystery, harmony and symbolism, and his aesthetic stands out for its blossoming colours and lines.
