About this artwork
My oil on linen still life "Salt and Shadow (Burger, Fries, Condiments)" was inspired by a delicious meal and vibrant conversation at Vin-by-the-Sea: a bistro where Carmel California's coastal charm meets small-production wines and thoughtful food pairings. A simple repast elegantly crafted and elevated into art. On View at Band of Vices Gallery in Los Angeles from 10 January, 2026 until 7 February 2026.

Gregg Chadwick is a contemporary American painter who lives and works in Santa Monica. He studied Fine Art at UCLA followed by a master’s degree at NYU, and has been painting ever since. A man of passion, art and engaged purpose, he is currently focused on exploring notions of time, place and memory.
