About this artwork
Immerse yourself in the boundless beauty of this painting, where nature and emotion merge into a breathtaking moment. Greta Stoytcheva doesn’t just paint—she breathes life into colors, unveiling a seascape that seems to pulsate with light and movement.
While creating this piece, Greta felt the warmth of the sand beneath her feet, the freshness of the sea breeze, and the gentle dance of the clouds across the sky. Each brushstroke is a reflection… of timelessness, of those rare moments when everything feels possible, and the heart is filled with serenity.
The smooth, rounded stones in the foreground resemble memories, polished by the waves of time—a symbol of patience and eternity. The water shimmers in shifting shades of blue and purple, while the sky burns with the fiery hues of a magical sunset. This painting does more than decorate a space—it invites the viewer into a world filled with dreams and harmony.
I'm from Lovech, Bulgaria, and it's where I discovered my passion for art. I began my apprenticeship in the town of Troyan at the National School of Applied Arts "Wenko Kolev," where I studied ceramics and fine arts, focusing on acrylics.
Later in 1990, I moved to Greece, where I expanded my artistic skills by working on silk, glass, porcelain, wood, and stone.
Afterward, in August 2018, I moved to Germany and lived in Bad Salzulfen for seven years. There, I was a member of the Herford Artists' Forum and held numerous exhibitions in Germany, Bulgaria, and Greece.
This year, I returned to Greece and began a new chapter in my life—new studio, new inspiration, new art.
